Wargaming is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of in-game events across its titles, special offers and discounts, free anniversary DLC and even a charitable donation to help the people of Ukraine.

The company was founded in 1998, and in the company’s anniversary announcement, CEO Victor Kislyi reflected on the journey. “Back in 1998, I could hardly imagine that we would grow from a small group of friends united by our love for creating videogames into a truly successful global company”.

And successful they are, with several flagship titles played globally, they're extending the celebrations to the community. There's a special Steam celebration and sale  from today, August 2nd, through August 8th. Special sales with heavily discounted DLC are available for titles like World of Warships and World of Tanks, World of Tanks Blitz, and World of Warplanes. There are also some special bundles also available at heavy discounts.

Also on Steam, you will be able to add some free DLC to your library. If you have any of the Wargaming titles installed on your system and you play via Steam, you'll be able to find special free DLC content for the anniversary through August 8th to claim and add to your account.

Anniversary celebrations are not limited to Steam, as World of Warships, World of Tanks on PC and Blitz, and World of Warplanes all feature special Wargaming 25th anniversary events and goodies to add to your collection.

From that group of friends in 1998 all the way to the 25th anniversary now in 2023, Wargaming will be donating $250,000 through the United24, an official fundraising platform of Ukraine that will help people buy medical equipment to help the Ukrainian people affected by the ongoing war.
