The prologue to Warframe's upcoming Warframe: 1999 update is now live. The Lotus Eaters follows up last year's Whispers in the Walls, setting the stage for the upcoming 1999 update later this year.
Debuted during last month's TennoCon 2024, The Lotus Eaters is an all-new prologue quest that helps get players ready to be transported back to 1999. The Lotus Eaters picks up the tale from last year's Whispers in the Walls update, with the Lotus bidding the player to investigate a call from the Man in the Wall and the mysteries surrounding it.
It's a short quest, but it sets the stage for players to take on the dangers and battles in Warframe: 1999 when it launches this Winter.
Also live today is the new Sevagoth Prime bundle, bringing a new, powerful version of the Warframe to your arsenal. The Prime Access package comes in three tiers, each increasing in price as more goodies are added to the package, starting with just the Sevagoth Prime weapons, including the new wrist-mounted sidearm, the Epitaph Prime, all the way up to the Warframe, boosters, cosmetic items and more as part of the Complete Tier.
Finally, today sees the release of new TennoGen cosmetic items hitting the marketplace, with a new Ares Skin for Styanax, Impaktor Fists weapon skin and more. TennoGen is a collaborative community effort that sees community-designed skins added to the marketplace, with the artists earning a 30% share in the profits.
