Warframe’s Techrot Encore update has taken its bow. Time to fight the Technocyte Coda boy band bosses, take on new mission types and add Temple, the 60th Warframe, to your roster.

Techrot Encore expands some more on Warframe: 1999 and extends that nostalgia blending with style, music, and even new tracks. There are four new Protoframes to get to know (though they’re not romanceable), K.I.M. updates to get to know the new, fully-voiced additions and see more of their stories.

Höllvania expands some more with new mission types: Stage Defense, featuring new Protoframe Flare (Temple), and Temporal Archimedea. Plus, there’s a new Atomicycle racing game,  Ollie’s Crash Course.

Temple, the 60th Warframe, is here, along with her guitar, Lizzie. She uses her guitar to ignite pyrotechnics  and uses pillars of flames to burn her enemies. Use your skills wisely and you can even use the guitar, which is self-aware by the way, to transform her into a flamethrower to cause  different elemental damage types. She also has a signature secondary pistol with bullets that are able to be recalled back into its magazine.

The Technocyte Coda bosses, each modeled after a member of On-lyne, are finally here to challenge after a bit of a delay. Digital Extremes wanted to make sure to get it right, as this addition has been highly anticipated since 1999’s launch. Naturally, these boss fights are set to music. Victories will get you some new weapons.

In fact, the whole thing is intricate and bonkers, but in the kind of go big style Warframe delivers on. Every step is outlined in the patch notes, along with all of the other changes in this giant Mainline update, or you could jump in to get started.

Techrot Encore brings a number of improvements, quality of life weeks, Bunch of new cosmetics.
