Hail, Tenno! Warframe’s Heart of Deimos launches today on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
If you missed our TennoCon 2020 coverage, Heart of Deimos was announced earlier this month during the virtual convention. It’s effectively another open world area, but is different from Eidalon or Fortuna. The goal with Heart of Deimos was to aim to make this area feel more alive and more dense.
To that end, a host of new features like Necramechs have been added. You can use Necramechs on all open worlds. They’re basically mech suits you use to decimate enemies. That’s pretty much the gist. There will be two varieties available.
We also were given access to the art panel, which you can view here. The art panel showed off the Xaku, Alchemist, Wraithe, Hyrdoid Deluxe and Squid pet, Gara Deluxe, and Zephyr Deluxe. And be sure to catch up on our interview with Senior Producer Dave Kudirka where we asked him about Heart of Deimos, what makes it different, and what new features players can look forward to.
If you’re a Switch player, don’t worry, Digital Extremes has you covered as they Tweeted out,
“To our Nintendo Switch Tenno, Heart of Deimos will be arriving later this week! While we understand this may be disappointing to hear, we'll let you know when you can expect the update as soon as we hear back about its Cert approval.”
