The Koumei and the Five Fates update is heading to Warframe fans this fall, bringing a new Warframe and Nightwave Series with new customizations.
The new Nightwave Series launches on September 3rd with new equipment. A Volt Deluxe Skin, which will come later this year. We knew the update was in the works for quite a while now, but since it was solely titled “Unannounced Fall Update”, there wasn’t much information available at the time of the initial announcement. Last week, the update was showcased during Gamescom ONL 2024, but the details are still pretty sparse. Digital Extremes is keeping details for now, but we do know there is quite a bit of content planned.
Moreso, this small-scale update comes right before Warframe: 1999, which will be teeming with new content but also, the prologue for said new content is available now across all platforms. While the prologue is quite short, it does give us a slight taste of what we can expect when the expansion goes live. We also know that the devs have taken a page from Baldur’s Gate 3 and added several romance options in their latest update, giving us even more depth and choices to make along the way.
