Warframe is now available on iOS, as Digital Extremes and partner Nitro Games, have launched the game into the mobile space. This comes as Xbox is getting the Whispers in the Walls expansion content.
Release on mobile is finally here for the more than 10-year old game, which has continued to receive updates, new additions, expansions, and lots of Warframes and new activities. The team at Nitro Games worked with Digital Extremes to tailor the Warframe experience in a faithful way to include those 10 years of content, combat, narrative, group play, and exploration on the new platform.
This is made possible by the recent addition of cross-platform play and cross-save for Warframe. Now, those who are new arrivals or who have been playing Warframe for years have the option to take things on the go, then pick up at home later.
This release takes all of that evolution into account, Digital Extremes is also offering some special gifts– a Bombyx Syandana and a 3-day Affinity booster as a day-one login gift. A starter weapon pack with a Aeolak Primary Weapon, Maxed Serration Mod, and 100 platinum is also available to purchase on all platforms.
For those who might want to play Warframe on the go but don't have an iOS device, the team also updated on the potential for an Android launch, saying that those interested can find out more by pre-registering.
