Warcraft Rumble has announced a PC edition beta as well as new Split Leaders that players can use to create mixed armies.
With its open beta starting December 10th, the PC edition will be available through Battle.net and is even shown off as a time-killer while searching for a World of Warcraft party (which Hearthstone was infamous for by way of League of Legends pros).
Rumble is also introducing “Split Leaders,” which allow players to build styles of two types of unit families at once. There will be three Split Leaders at the launch of the system: Malfurion fights for the Alliance and Cenarion families; Orgrim Doomhammer fights for the Horde and Blackrock families; and Anub’arak leads for the Beasts and Undead families.
Plus, the Warcraft 30th celebration happens to overlap with Rumble’s first anniversary celebration that boasts a host of login bonuses, including a golden Kobold that players can claim for one week’s worth of logins.
The Direct went over a bit of the inspiration as well for Warcraft Rumble, even showing off original “minis” (that is, mini figurines) that were integrated from being real hand-made figurines into the game.
Not to be left quietly in the night within its franchise universe, the Warcraft universe RTS mobile game’s announcements came during the Warcraft 30th Direct, during which Warcraft remasters and WoW housing were also unveiled.
