War Thunder's next update, Dance of Dragons, is bringing some notable Chinese fighter planes later this month, along with closed beta testing for the French coastal fleet, in addition to dozens of other vehicles.
Gaijin Entertainment didn’t give a launch date for the update, but there is a brand new trailer and some details. The two notable Chinese Fighters are the J-10A and the JF-17. The JF-17 was developed in China for the Pakistan Air Force and has been used since 2007 in a number of military operations.
The other fighter on the way is the J-10A, which dates from the late ‘90s and is still used in China today. The developers have a new devblog all about the J -10A if you are curious about taking a deep dive into the history of this plane, all of its mechanics, capabilities, firepower, and much more.
Not only is it an innovative plane, it has a twin 23mm cannon with 200 rounds of ammunition, provisions for up to 11 hard points, and you can also outfit it with laser guided or conventional bombs and rockets. there's a lot of versatility here.
