VR MMORPG Zenith: The Last City will be starting its closed beta this month, as RamenVR announced, along with a beta teaser trailer showing off the game, which was also confirmed for an early 2022 release.

There’s a new VR trailer showing off the world, the movement, and what it might look like to glide through and battle in this world playing an MMORPG like most have never done. Zenith has been in development for a while now, with a concentration on creating an MMORPG blended with VR technology to make things more immersive and compelling. With the flexibility of VR and ability to create a top to bottom open world that you can actually run through and surround yourself with is the beginning. The new trailer shows off gliding, combat, and exploration in Zenith’s colorful open world.

The game features action RPG combat as well as being able to climb and glide around, taking advantage of movement possibilities since the world is all around you in VR and not just limited to your screen. The anime-inspired environments and movement are certainly different than most MMOs out there. you can interact with NPCs just like you’re there with them, maybe after getting their attention by waving at them.

If you’ve got the right VR equipment and are interested in trying the game in its beta test, the  the beta begins on December 18th. The game is currently set for release across Steam VR, PlayStation VR, and Meta Quest (formerly known as Oculus). If you’re interested in applying for a beta key, there is no application process. RamenVR plans on distributing 1000 beta keys through its Discord and social media. They've already been posting beta keys on the game’s official Twitter.
