A small indie Bulgarian team has started a KickStarter project for Victus: Rewrite History, a cross-platform MMORTS that has been in development for over eighteen months and is ready to start beta testing. The team is looking for a very modest $15,000 to complete the project that allows players to pit Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt against one another with a very engaging art style. The team is committed to no pay-to-win and viability of units in the late game plus a whole lot more.
We have already worked on this project for a year and a half. All basic game mechanics have been implemented and are currently up and running. Right now we are perfectly able to launch a game server for “just another browser MMO” – a good looking browser MMO though! You can gather resources, construct buildings, produce troops and send raids to enemy players!... Well, this is not enough for us. We want to improve the game and add many additional features. They have been designed and our dev team is already working on them.
