Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room have published a new dev diary for Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 offering a primer on one of the game’s four playable clans: the Brujah.
Described as “eternal rebels,” Brujah are known for fighting relentlessly for their personal causes, often in a very literal sense. Their unrelenting desire for conflict pairs well with their incredible strength.
Still, not all Brujah fight with their fists. One Brujah character in Bloodlines 2 who goes by the name of Silky, is an eloquent leader who serves as Primogen for the Brujah and can be found running his bar, The Dutchman.
In combat, Brujah care little for stealth and instead prefer to fight aggressively. Senior Gameplay Designer Max Bottomley explains that most of the playable clans in the game have many ways to exploit stealth and thin the herd of enemies until the time is right to engage in open combat. When it comes to gameplay, the Brujah have been designed for players who often feel “the time is right now” and The Chinese Room have equipped said Brujah with the blunt force power to make that a viable option.
