Details and screenshots for a reported 6v6 Overwatch-style hero shooter developed by Valve have leaked online.

Posts shared on Twitter/X by @gabefollower claim the game is titled Deadlock (previously titled Neon Prime, Citadel) and will feature third-person combat on “huge” maps with four lanes. Characters will have usable items and abilities and the game will incorporate a number of tower defense mechanics.

Gabe Follower added that the game will also feature fast travel via BioShock Infinite style floating rails, frenetic gameplay that combines elements from games such as Dota 2, Team Fortress 2, Overwatch, Valorant, Smite, and Orcs Must Die.

The aesthetic is described as fantasy mixed with steampunk with everything from magicians, to “weird creatures” and robots. They describe the hero design as inspired by characters in the Dota universe. This user backed up his claims with a number of screenshots, including one of a hero named Grey Talon, that reportedly originate from the upcoming title.

Adding fuel to the fire is a video published on YouTube by Tyler McVicker, an independent games reporter formerly known as Valve News Network, suggests the game is currently in alpha and that an official announcement of the title by Valve will happen soon.
