The latest patch for Valorant is out, and it brings about several changes to shooting accuracy while running.

You’ll note that the concern of shooting accuracy while running was brought up in a previous Q&A from the community. The patch is now here to address this. The running+shooting accuracy for Patch 2.02 are outlined as follows:

  • Running Error across rifles increased 3.75 >>> 5.0
  • Walking Error across rifles increased .8 >>> 1.1
  • Crouch-moving Error across rifles increased .3 >>> .8

In short, Riot intends these changes to make kills with rifles while moving rarer, with the effect compounded at longer distances. The patch also brings about several updates to the competitive scene, in addition to bug fixes.

However, in a later Tweet, Riot noted that the bug fixes mentioned in the patch specific to Sova Drone and Cypher camera didn’t make the patch in time,

“Two bug fixes previously mentioned in the Patch Notes (related to getting stuck after using Sova Drone or Cypher Spy Camera) didn't quite make it in this time. We're still at work on a fix and will keep you posted.”
