VALORANT Patch 1.07 Buffs Breach, Nerfs Sage and Killjoy

If you’re a fan of Valorant’s Sage or Killjoy, well, you may not like Patch 1.07.

Both agents are getting nerfed. For example, Sage’s heal will be reduced, as well as her self-heal. Her slow orb size has been reduced as well by 30%. However, good news is that her Barrier Orb cost has reduced from 400 to 300. Riot’s reasoning for nerfing her heal abilities is,

“Our goal is to reduce the amount of healing done throughout the round. Disincentivize Sage from self healing and make it more expensive to do so.”

Killjoy saw nerfs as well. The DPS on her Nanoswarm was reduced, along with some effects added to make it easier to spot. They also added a brief windup before the skill is deployed. Riot reasons,

“Killjoy’s Nanoswarm has been a terror to play against. It’s meant to be a strong stalling and post plant tool—but we feel it’s currently dealing far too much damage and players aren’t able to engage in the desired counterplay.”

Her Turret, however, can no longer be revealed by Sova’s arrow, and is more efficient. Additional changes to the patch include tuning shotguns. Breach is also getting buffed with his Flashpoint charges getting one additional charge. You can check out the full patch notes here.
