Episode 2 has arrived for Valorant and we finally have patch notes to go along with the update.

The patch itself, brings adjustments to Controllers like Omen and Brimstone, with Viper “on the radar.” Brimstone sees adjustments to Stim Beacon, Molotov, Sky Smokes, and Sound. Meanwhile Omen sees adjustments to Paranoia and Dark Cover.
Weapons received updates as well, specifically the Alt Fire to the Classic. Competitive updates were included such as:
- New Competitive regional leaderboards (Jan. 12)
- Rank system updated, including rank progress bar, numerical progress, and further distribution changes to make it easier to climb out of the lower ranks
- Immortal and Radiant ranks are now capped at a premade size of two
- New ranked rewards for Episode 1 (pair of Gun Buddies based on your highest Act Rank achieved during Episode 1)
