Valheim continues its charge as it neared 500,000 concurrent players on Steam this weekend.

This data arrives via Steam Charts, which states that the Viking themed survival game saw 498,478 concurrent players over the weekend, just a touch shy of half a million. This peak happened mere days after the game topped 400,000 concurrent players on Friday. Last weekend saw the game host over 360,000 concurrent players.

The staggering numbers don’t just stop at player counts. Just recently, the team announced that Valheim passed 3 million copies sold in 17 days since its release. This follows the 2 million copies sold milestone after 13 days out in the wild.

We quite like Valheim here at MMORPG. The team continues to update the game, adding a Join IP option recently. If you’re looking for impressions on the game before diving, check out Bradford’s thoughts of the game after a few hours. But be sure to watch out the Deathsquitoes in the Plains biome. They are the literal worst.
