Valheim is coming to Mac, launching on both Steam and the Apple App Store on June 10th.
The survival game, which recently released its long-awaited Ashlands update, announced yesterday on social media that Valheim will launch with full crossplay support between the various versions.
We have an announcement for you this fine Tuesday! #Valheim is coming to Mac, and it’s happening next week! ?? There will, of course, be full crossplay support. pic.twitter.com/ebReEBasWq

Coming on June 10th, the developer didn't release any additional information as to what Mac devices it'll run on, such as whether someone will need an M1 or M2 equipped Mac or if the older Intel models will still work. However, we do know that it will be coming to both Steam and the Apple App Store, so if you already own the survival game on Steam's platform, you likely will not need to re-purchase the game on Apple's platform.
In the replies to their Twitter post, the Valheim developers have noted that they will not support mods on Mac (they technically do not support mods on any platform, according to the post), but beyond that, we'll have to wait until closer to launch to learn anything else about this new version of the Viking survival game.
