Another day, another milestone for Valheim it seems. The hit survival game set in the 10th World of Yggdrasil has now sold 3 million copies since launching on Steam Early access 17 days ago.
The Iron Gate Studio made the announcement on their Steam page, once again thanking fans for their support since the Viking-themed survival game hit Early Access on February 2nd.
"This February has been truly wild! Less than three weeks into Early Access, we’ve already hit another milestone. Valheim has now been purchased by over three million brave Vikings looking to survive the 10th world of the Yggdrasil - or die trying - probably crushed by a falling tree."
The team also shared some Valheim statistics, such as seeing over 60K "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews on Steam, as well as entering the platform's Top 250 best reviewed games of all time. Additionally, Valheim has taken over Twitch, reaching the 7th most streamed game on the platform currently, surpassing giants like Minecraft, Rust and more.
We've been enjoying the Viking-flavored survival game, unless you count running into Deathsquitoes. Those are, quite simply, the literal worst.
