Stunlock Studios has announced that at least 4 million Vampires have risen from the grave since V Rising entered early access in 2022, which is a huge milestone to hit just a few months before the Castlevania update.

V Rising is an interesting take on a survival-craft MMORPG, as players can choose to abide by their own laws of the land within their own server or join in on PvP madness within public realms. There are interesting mechanics such as unlocked new spells and crafting recipes through slaying bosses of varying levels, which forces the player to keep moving forward.

With an upcoming large scale content update in the works for release on May 8th, and the fact that the game will fully launch on the same day, there is plenty more in store for those who took on the blood-sucking tasks within the game. Not to mention PlayStation 5 players will finally have the opportunity to hone in on their hunting skills, as the game will also be releasing on the platform later this year.

The Legacy of Castlevania update brings two worlds together, as Stunlock Studios has teamed up with Konami to bring Simon Belmont to V Rising. For fans of Castlevainia, the Belmont clan is not one to easily forget, and with the new boss to slay will come a new ability and a new weapon; the whip. It won’t be an easy task to take down one of the most iconic Vampire killers in the land, though, so players be warned.
