Stunlock Studios has details and a teaser for the Legacy of Castlevania collaboration that will launch on May 8th when V Rising exits Early Access.

Simon Belmont is coming to V Rising and will bring a new weapon to Vardoran, his signature whip. The crossover gameplay teaser shows some of what’s on the way, as well as a peek at what battling him will be like. Learning the secrets of the whip are going to take some work on your part, as you’ll need to learn to defeat him. The collaboration–from Simon’s arrival, battle, and the whip–will be available for all with V Rising’s 1.0 launch.

A Legacy of Castlevania premium pack will also be available for $19.99. This includes five armor pieces that make up Alucard's Regalia - boots, cloak, coat, gloves, and leggings–that you will be able to craft  and wear at any point on your own journey. These cosmetics will add a touch of vampire legend to your look choices. Of course, in addition to your own vampire,  in the game, your castle is another very prominent way to express some style.

Or in this case, the style of Castlevania. Take some inspiration from a classic with things like the Ancient Symphony coffin and throne, a matching floor pattern, and five coordinating wallpapers. There are other options to mix and match like a gate, carpet, staircase, candelabra, a couple of stained glass windows, and even a number of statues to line your halls. If figures of Alucard, Maria, or a Bone Trophy aren’t making enough of a statement, there’s always the Ancient Symphony Blood Fountain.

In the mood for some new shapeshifting forms? You’re in luck. Soul of the Wolf is your new wolf form variant. Need to play human for a bit? Glamour of Maria Renard. Finally,  the Guide of the Flea Man is a Toad form variant. Need a new way to get around? Try Rowdain’s Steed for a distinctly skeletal form of transportation.

The pack also includes new hairstyles, new Castlevania paintings to decorate your walls, and some new adapted Castlevania music themes.
