The Paladin will be coming to Elyon on May 25th. The new class was announced with the date and a pre-registration event that will let you get a special Paladin outfit when the class releases. The most recent update for the game also started several new events and made a few additions ahead of several resets coming on the same day the Paladin class will be out.
This new class willl be a tactical combo class, with the use of Mana as well as a sword and shield. Fittingly, the Paladin uses the Light attribute. They use their auras to switch between support and tank roles, so you’ll have to react to different needs to decide how to play any particular time, or when to switch. If you’ve played paladin type classes before, then you should be able to grasp the strategy pretty quickly but the idea is versatility.
The brand new trailer for the class shows off the Paladin using a variety of techniques to slay enemies, from spinning offensive moves to defense. The pre-registration event for the Paladin begins today and all subscribers to the official Elyon newsletter will get a special helmet, cloak, and armor set for the Paladin on release.
On May 25th, not only will the Paladin be playable but the Honor Points will be reset as well as the new Mana Awakening season will begin. To prepare, the latest update has added rewards to the Mana Awakening table and updated the Honor Point ranking rewards as well.
The weekly update also fixed a few bugs, like incorrect gamepad settings, and an issue affecting the Archer that sometimes led to that class stopping during combat. But the bulk of this update is looking ahead, so if you’re anticipating the Paladin or looking for some rewards before the upcoming resets, now’s your chance to prepare.
