It looks like the Battle.net client has been updated to support an encrypted Shadowlands Alpha for World of Warcraft.
Details come via Wowhead, which notes that encrypted games cannot be datamined. However, the code showed alpha activity. Shadowlands is set to release sometime later this year after having been announced at BlizzCon 2019 last November.
