Update 20 Takes Players Into Sauron's Backyard

Lord of the Rings Online players are literally in Sauron's backyard after today's Update 20 release. Battle of the Black Gate adds ninety brand new quests in three big zones: Noman-lands, Dagorlad and the Slag-hills. The journey begins at the Camp of the Host and leads to Volume IV, Book 8 and the Battle of the Black Gate.

In addition to the new storyline, players can also head into two new resource dungeons, and assist the Host of the West to prepare for the epic battle ahead. Players collect items for each faction and can score some nice rewards for helping out. Lasty a number of quality of life issues have been added.
