Ubisoft Announces Prince of Persia Remake, Immortals Fenyx Rising

In the Ubisoft Forward event earlier, the publisher announced a Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake in addition to a new game dubbed Immortals Fenyx Rising.

The Prince of Persia remake is set to arrive on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store and Uplay on January 21, 2021. Notably, the next generation consoles – the Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5 – were not mentioned.

The remake is set to feature new enemy character models, in addition to completely new cinematic sequences. The team has also added enhanced voices, enhanced sounds, new parkour animations, and an enhanced soundtrack. Additionally, the graphics and controls have been completely modernized.

Ubisoft also announced Immortals Fenyx Rising – a new IP set to release on December 3 for Stadia, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You’ll play as a winged demigod tasked with saving the Greek gods from a curse.

Visually, it looks very similar to Zelda Breath of the Wild, while take some combat cues from the modern Assassin’s Creed titles such as the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. You’ll explore a vast open world while on your quest with full character customization, ability upgrades, and of course, gear. You can check out a walkthrough of the gameplay below.
