Trion 'Fesses Up to Mistake, Makes Good

A post on the ArcheAge forums continues, or hopefully ends, the controversy created last week with a gift sent out to former players. "Return to ArcheAge" packages included several RNG boxes, potions and Library access scrolls. However, several random boxes also included the $100 "Secrets Pack" and the Cynafin Dolphin which gave its name to the issue now known as "Dolphingate". Players loudly decried the move. Trion has subsequently admitted the error in judgment and is making good with players.

As of this writing, all ArcheAge players should have received:

All players will receive a "Community Appreciation Reward" (I might have missed a detail or two below)

Non-paying players (includes patrons who ONLY got patron via purchase of APEX from auction house):

• 4 Bound Pirate Yata Chest
• 2 bound worker's comp (500)
• 1 bound vocation tonic
• 10 Golden library index
• 1 Tyrenos index

Paying Patrons (paid Trion with real money for Patron or for anything else at any time in the past "by midnight last night", [including] APEX bought with real money, but NOT APEX bought via auction house):

• Cyanfin mount
• Starlight Glider Customization
• 7 day passes to Library Floors
• 5 bound Worker's Comp (500 labor)
• 2 bound vocation tonics
• 30 bound Golden Library Index
• 10 bound Tyrenos Index
• 10 xp potion
• 1 of each lucky point (Sun, Moon, Star)
• 1 of each archeum essence (Sun, Moon, Star)
