DualShockers recently met up with some Trion team members who are working on Defiance. With a stable population of about 120,000, the team feels that it's time to bring Defiance up to the current generation by updating systems and graphics and by addressing the community's wishlist.

Trion is invested in bringing Defiance to consoles. A team has been working on the production of an internal tech demo with  Defiance running on PlayStation 4 hardware. According to testers, the game runs smoothly with vastly improved graphics.

In addition, to working on a console version, Trion is committed to ensuring the PC version is updated to support more modern systems that may not have been up to the task in 2014. There are plans for a higher frame rate, which makes for more fluid movement and "better graphics, displaying the game in 1080p". The Defiance devs are interested to hear what community members would like to see most when it comes to improving the PC client.

What would you like to see changed in Defiance?

Thanks, DMKano!
