Tribute to Keith Parkinson

The Masters of Fantasy Art - A Tribute to Keith Parkinson is, as the title suggests, a gallery tribute to a prolific artist and co-founder of the now defunct Sigil Games Online. The traveling gallery show has been all over the United States and makes its return to San Diego on June 5th.

Parkinson passed away on October 26th, 2005 after a struggle with Leukemia.

After five months of gallery shows across the country, The Masters of Fantasy Art - A Tribute to Keith Parkinson, is heading to the Art Institute of California, San Diego. The tour will arrive in San Diego on Tuesday, June 5th.

The tour began in January, alongside the launch of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, as a tribute to the late Keith Parkinson, Art Director for Vanguard. SOE partnered with the Art Institutes to bring the show to various schools that offer game design and game art programs. The tour has had successful shows at the Art Institutes in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Washington D.C. and New York where thousands of people, many of whom are avid gamers, have experienced Keith's art up close and personal. In addition, the tour has received media coverage in all markets, including multiple live hits on a DC morning show.

In honor of the tour returning home for a two month show at the Art Institute of California, San Diego, we are hosting a gallery opening on the evening of June 5th and would love to have SOE players stop by to see the art hung in a gallery setting and show their support for both Keith and Vanguard.
