The FPS series that mixes capturing the flag at rapid speeds is making a comeback, and Tribes 3: Rivals has now launched into early access on Steam with a roadmap of what to expect in the future.
For this month, the game will of course be getting some fixes as players dive in for the first time, but there will be improvements made to the classes and weapons in March as well. Once April arrives, the developers will have two updates ready to rock with new weapons and maps for players to enjoy.
The first update will be titled Plasma, which features a new Plasma Gun weapon, and the entire update will solely focus on that. The second update brings the “Moonrise” map which takes place in a solar space themed environment.
Further along into quarter two of this year, players can expect more balance and fixes, as well as a gameplay update that will bring new class abilities, possibly a few new weapons and resolving any bugs players encounter.
Lastly, yet another new map will be coming to the game, but this time, the theme will be determined by player feedback.
