Trendy Prevails, Settlement Reached with Ark's Stieglitz

Trendy and Ark: Survival Evolved Studio, Wildcard, have announced that a settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed earlier this year claiming that Jeremy Stieglitz, on leaving Trendy, violated the terms of his severance with the company.

According to documentation (case # 012015 CA 004491 and case # 022016 CA 000493), Trendy accuses former employee Jeremy Stieglitz of using proprietary tech developed during his tenure with the company and that several employees have been 'poached' from Trendy to work for Studio Wildcard since he left in 2014. The allegations leveled imply that this is in violation of severance agreements made between Stieglitz and Trendy on his resignation. (see our story from March 23rd)

While today's settlement does not disclose terms, the stakes of the case are in the millions; Insight alleged that the Stieglitz's stashed millions in offshore accounts and that Jeremy Stieglitz "owes Insight $26 million alone" in a court filing earlier this month. Susan Stieglitz later tweeted that "they want 600 million."
