The latest H1Z1 patch notes have been posted that inform the community that "the newly re-formed dev team" is hard at work at what "will soon be known as Z1 Battle Royale" on PC in the future and that it will be working with the community to "prioritize features and changes" that will hopefully "return the game to its roots as the world's most competitive BR game".
The patch notes then delve into a number of tweaks to gameplay, mainly targeting changes to a number of weapons. In addition, matchmaking has been adjusted, particularly for solo queue players. "Your new dev team has really enjoyed playing and testing this feature internally and can't wait to play it with all of you", the post reads.
The patch notes mention the new dev team twice, though it remains unclear which of the original team remains on board and which devs from the defunct "Just Survive", the PvE H1Z1 game, have joined.
You can check out the full update notes on the H1Z1 / Z1 Battle Royale Steam page.
