The Crowfall Kickstarter page has been updated with a new FAQ about how both passive and active skills will be trained.
Passive skills can be leveled up to a maximum of 100% whether or not a player is online. Player temples contain thralls that "pray" for the reborn God/Goddess to remember skills from their earlier incarnations. Up to three passives to train at any one time, each with its own learning speed. Primary, secondary and tertiary skills can be leveled to 100% at the following rates:
- Primary in about one month
- Secondary in about two months
- Tertiary in about three months
The FAQ does indicate, however, that the balance of the learning curve is still a work in progress and that player feedback will be integral into the feature's final incarnation.
In addition, players will be able to train up to three characters' skills simultaneously with VIP membership.
