The Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion collaboration continues, and the team is introducing the next limited event simulacrum from the classic anime: Rei Ayanami.
Rei is known as the first fully qualified pilot of Evangelion. That said, she’s not known by many, in reality. She’s dutiful, skilled, and is known for following orders quickly, without concern for herself. This fog of reticence, and almost eerie calm around Rei coms through in her new lore trailer. In it, we see her getting some of those orders, this time to go right away to participate in a battle. With her weapon, Salvation, in her hands, she does indeed battle against the invading threat.
As a Frost-Volt simulacrum, she’ll fire her special energy arrows from Salvation, a bow made by the Mirroria Department of Science and Technology. This special weapon made just for Rei is part of her welcome to the roster of possible simulacra you can add to your roster, following the recent introduction of Asuka to kick off the collaboration. Just like Asuka, Rei fights alongside the people of Vera to defeat the invading Angel threat. In fact, she piloted her EVA-00 to travel to Vera to help this huge threat come to an end.

The Evangelion Fantasy collaboration is a huge one for Tower of Fantasy’. The event will run for some time, so if you haven’t jumped in just yet, there’s still time to get started and begin to earn yourself some goodies and take a shot at the event simulacra.
Reservations for Rei are now open, according to the collaboration hub, and she will enter as the latest simulacrum on March 28th.
