Tower of Fantasy Will Now Be Published By Perfect World Games and Players Must Transfer Accounts or Face Deletion

Tower of Fantasy is undergoing a significant change in February 2025 as publishing and operational duties are being transferred from current publisher Level Infinite to Perfect World Games, the parent company of developer Hotta Studio. Level Infinite has outlined a crucial step that all players will need to take heed of, an upcoming data transfer. From December 27, 2024, to April 24, 2025, players will need to authorize the transfer of their Tower of Fantasy data, including progress, currency, items, and purchased services, to a Perfect World Games account.

Tower of Fantasy has had some consistent updates throughout 2024, including the expansion of their story, some cheeky collabs, and a ton of new characters. However, this latest news about the pending transfer is essential for players to maintain continued access to the game and take part in whatever's to come in 2025.

Players who do not authorize the transfer or fail to do so by February 23rd will unfortunately lose all their game data, which seems quite harsh but it's outlined in the latest news article by Level Infinite.

The process for transferring your account is generally straightforward for most players, involving a simple authorization step within the game after logging in on most platforms, though players using guest accounts or the Epic Games platform will need to link their accounts to a Level Infinite PASS before February 23, 2025, to ensure their data can be transferred, as the team is discontinuing the game on Epic Game's store. 

While the change in publishers may seem like a hassle, Level Infinite is providing a few months for players to authorize their data transfer, even if those that might not hear about the process are at severe risk of losing all of their data.  If you've played the game at all since its launch in 2022, and you want to keep everything you've worked for, now's the time to jump in and authorize the transfer.
