With Perfect World taking over publishing for Tower of Fantasy, from Level Infinite, there are already some changes to be aware of in preparation for the move.
There’s still a little bit of time left to migrate your account if you haven’t already. Back on Friday, February 14th, Tower of Fantasy shut down all in-game and external purchases. No more purchases will be permitted until after the transfer. In the meantime, you can use any tanium or dark crystals you have on hand if you want. You’ll be able to hang onto them if you transfer your data to a Perfect World account, as all unused currency will transfer over ans you'll be able to use it on the new servers.
The Level Infinite servers will go down on February 23rd, with Perfect World’s servers to follow on February 25th. The transfer of the global social media accounts for Tower of Fantasy will happen a little earlier, thanks to a newly announced agreement. Perfect World will take over these accounts tomorrow, February 18th, at 00:00/midnight UTC/ 7 p.m. EST tonight, the 17th. This has no impact on the servers or data transfer window. The shutdown date of February 23rd is still in effect, so the Level Infinite team is continuing to wind things down.
You will still be able to transfer your data over to a Perfect World account by April 24th. Since Perfect World assumes control of the social accounts soon, we can expect more info on the transition process from a unified source soon. The new servers will open on February 25th, so we can expect more details on timing and what launch gifts and surprises Perfect World is planning.
