Tower of Fantasy Teases v5.0 Story and Changes, Responds to Player Feedback

While v4.8 is in the works, Tower of Fantasy developers took the time to address some player concerns in a substantial new blog—and tease a far bigger v5.0 patch coming. 

First, the blog talks about “optimization” plans, which seem to focus on the registration and transfer processes to Perfect World, global payment options, and customer service. The team recognizes issues in all three sectors, promising to make improvements. 

The team also took the moment to announce that the next update will go straight from v4.8 to v5.0, titled “Kailo Sector,” meaning Tower of Fantasy isn’t going anywhere anytime soon; the story is teased as continuing the “realistic sci-fi plot” and bringing “even better character designs. Plus, this update will supposedly try to make ToF “Your Exclusive Social Space,” with more crew events and ways to socialize. 

They also aim to address “tedious, random development systems or repetitive tasks like daily mining,” as well as “random stats” and the way characters are introduced, especially the more popular ones. 

ToF recently launched v4.7 alongside new servers owned by its new publisher Perfect World.
