Tower of Fantasy revealed its next update, “ Forging a New World”, with a dark, yet hopeful, new trailer and details on the next developments.
The update will be out on January 21st, the trailer notes the fact that they could not prevent disaster before, but maintains hope for the future. It's a fast-paced trailer featuring action and escape, but it highlights the need for a new home in light of potential further impending disaster.
We say potential, but as with many Tower of Fantasy trailers for new story-driven content, there's a definite dark side. That’s putting it rather mildly, but it's best to simply watch it happen and consider the potential on the way in this new update. If you've been around for a while, then you know some of what these previews and the content itself might lean into. Aida itself emerged from disaster, in the first place, and there are plenty of dark stories within, even among the cheese. We seem to be barrelling further towards a conclusion, or at least, some loose threads tied in the Gesthos Network storyline.
The video caption does mirror the first part of the video though, in leaning into hope. It says, “For everyone, for a brand new home, despite the many difficulties ahead, I will continue to move forward without regrets”.
The update will come ahead of the formal transfer to Perfect World as publisher. The team been reminding everyone that you will have to create a Perfect World account and transfer your data by February 23rd if you want to continue playing Tower of Fantasy.
