More details are out on next week’s collaboration between Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion. New clips show off some of what to expect, along with dates on expected updates, including availability of Asuka and Rei.

The collaboration homepage has an update, along with a bit of a timeline for the 3.7 update and of course, this event, which opens on March 12th.

A brand new preview of Asuka is out, with her weapon, Spear of Longinus. She’ll become available on March 12th as a special simulacrum you can add to your roster. You’ll need help to fight back against the Angels that have broken the peace in Mirroria with their invasion, threatening the future. Mirroria will prepare to battle against the invaders, but some special help is on the way, from EVA units to a few special characters.

The video showing off Asuka’s fighting is pretty short, but it’s enough of a tease to want her on your roster. The video caption offers some more of a hint of the direction of the collaboration: “Asuka doesn't linger over the neon-filled view but brings her all to protect the city from the invasion of Angel attacks.??

Luckily, Asuka is not alone here…”  Of course, she’s not, as she’s dressed in her pilot suit and accompanies by EVA-02.

Not only will you get to fight along with Evangelion characters, you will get a chance to get Asuka and Rei, who arrives on March 28th. According to the collaboration hub, Rei reservation will begin on March 21st, so if you’re looking to add one of both of them as simulacra, the time is getting closer to that opportunity.

We should be able to expect even more details soon, and likely, another video preview to introduce Rei to Tower of Fantasy.
