Tower of Fantasy is introducing its next simulacrum, Yu Lan, who will arrive on July 18th.
Along with her weapon, Unity, Yu Lan gets her own trailer revealing some of her background, style, and lore. Fitting the post Domain 9 update, she is dressed in an Eastern-inspired style, and her moves are fluid.
Her trailer opens on what seems to almost be a peaceful river area, and as she steps in, Things become a little more turbulent. Rocks rise and pieces of stone fly around, and she jumps to try and get to safety. Eventually, she winds up in a red field, the stones come to rest in front of her, forming the bridge that they apparently originally came from.
On that bridge, Yu Lan is met by several figures, and we get to see some of her fighting. Her combat is the fast-paced movement we have come to expect from Tower of Fantasy, with fluidity and her own features. She is a frost simulacrum who fights with martial arts and is considered one of the best fighters in Domain 9. During battle, she enters a state of transcendence, and in her trailer we can see this depicted. She has been the Sundial Guard, protecting the Infinite Sundial under Master Yu. Master Yu herself emphasizes that the “path of development is endless”.
Fighting with her weapon she has the ability to freeze her targets and leave them with a frostbit and status for 6 seconds. This will cause additional damage when she breaks the ice shell, and she also features additional combos that let her attack with a dance like style.
Yu Lan will join Tower of Fantasy in just a week, bringing the latest from Domain 9 to add to your roster. From her trailer, is clear that she fits with the dance-like and artistic style that Domain 9 has presented so far.
