Tower of Fantasy makes its way onto PlayStation next week, and there’s a new pre-order showcase and pre-load details for the release.
Perfect World Games will publish the PlayStation version of Tower of Fantasy. The game will still be free to play, but the three pre-order options will grant you cosmetics and goodies to get you started, in addition to a monthly pass. If you pre-order the Deluxe or Ultimate editions, you will also get 48 Hours of Early Access.
The Standard edition ($10.99) will feature a monthly pass, gold nucleus x10, food items, 1000 Tanium, the game’s premium currency, and more. Deluxe ($49.99) gets early access time, monthly pass,Tanium, Simulacrum Deluxe box, and some PlayStation themed avatar cosmetics. Finally, the $99.99 Ultimate Edition includes all of the above, plus a racecar and jetpack skin.
The preorder exclusives trailer shows just how you’ll be able to kit yourself out and get ready for the fast-paced adventures ahead. You can see the outfits that become available, as well as the Ultimate edition racecar and jetpack skins.
Tower of Fantasy will officially release for PlayStation on August 8th at 12 midnight UTC/ 8pm Eastern / 5PM Pacific on August 7th. Preload for fully free to play begins at midnight UTC on August 6th, which is the start time for Early Access. Those who do have Early Access will be able to preload the game at midnight UTC on August 4th.
On August 8th, the 3.1 update will arrive for Tower of Fantasy, bringing a new zone, Cloudpeak Manor, just in time for the console release, featuring the Black Crow Dark Wretch boss in Domain 9. The update will also bring back a familiar character, add the Starchaser Championship, which is a virtual horse race event, and a new challenge for guilds, called Fog Reconstruction.
