Domain 9 is coming to Tower of Fantasy, and the team is ramping up with a new dark, twisty preview of the next chapter to come.

The latest preview begins to set the stage. “Like a broken butterfly that longs for home, a dreamer’s fate is sealed,” goes some of the narration. After we see the images of a broken butterfly picked up, restored, and then sent along its way with music. The narration is a bit heavy, for being light in tone, there are deep topics coming up, especially death, parting, and other things that happen in life.

Yet, as there often is, there’s something else at work here, and it's worth watching to see how things twist.

“As the world suddenly collapses. Danger far and wide.” This is a bit of an understatement, if we’re going to judge from the new preview, which is also captioned with:

“Wanderers must unlock the mysteries of the lost civilization and uncover the secrets of this forgotten realm!”

Dangers indeed. Domain 9 isn’t coming quietly, and this is one reason why the Hotta Studio and Level Infinite teams are prepping us all for the next update. Some big and bold darkness is coming, and they are setting the stage in a way that continues the mystery,  Which is an effective way of teasing what's to come.

Tower of Fantasy is a big and colorful game, but it does fold in mysterious and sometimes deep topics within its ongoing evolving stories. Many of the simulacra have some mysterious, sometimes very painful backstories, and the world continues facing threats and dangers from all over.

The arrival of Domain 9 and this new sector will welcome in version 3.0 of the game, so setting this up is big. The tone is so far somber in this preview, but we will know more leading up to the release of the new content on June 27th.
