Tomorrow, Tower of Fantasy's 4.2 update, Cool Coastline, adds a brand new zone to explore, Central District, a new world boss, new main story, new simulacrum Nola, and lots of events, including second anniversary gifts..
The story continues with “Behind the Neon Lights”, where what is behind those brilliant lights will reveal dark plots. We'll learn a little more about what's going on with the Gesthos Network, the files from Aurora Industries, and the troubles and conflicts that have sprung up.
Nola and her weapon, Rumble, which can shift elemental properties, giving her significant flexibility within a team. She herself comes with mysteries, as she does not have memories and is trying to recover them somehow, so expect that to be central to her simulacrum quest.
Ground Controller is the new world boss, and Gaia is a new level 95 boss for Evolution Vanguard.
There are several new features in this update, including new beach volleyball gameplay, the introduction of the controversial Simulacrum Dorm, and Simulacrum Synesthesia, with Lin first up. Simulacrum Dorm is a fanservicey new feature that lets you decorate the room, dress your simulacrum, and more. They plan to add more over time.You can get more dorm items through collecting Dorm Vouchers, which you can obtain through events.
Beach volleyball is here and is part of the Seaside Summer Bash event, with eight limited time minigames From August 6th through September 19th. In addition to volleyball there are minigames like summer dance off, fruit attack, bonding summer camp, and a series of login rewards.
The summer events continue with Cool Coastline, Azure Breeze (extended), and Splendid Residence, where you can get Dorm Vouchers. Other events include second anniversary gifts that will begin rolling out this week and over time through the end of the month, additional giveaways, and a series of daily login rewards.
