Tower of Fantasy has moved beyond its Evangelion Fantasy collaboration into its next chapter with the arrival of the newest update, Celestial Destiny today. There is a new simulacrum, Ji Yu, new main story, new events, new challenges, a limited raid instance, and a boost to the equipment enhancement cap.
Domain 9: Gentle Breeze & Clear Skies is the new main story chapter to dive into. The Darkness has been briefly halted, and everyone can enjoy the gentle breeze and clear skies of the title. For a while, anyway. Something is stirring, and there are shadows in Hykros where the Heirs are preparing for something. Something that will bring us right back to the beginning of Tower of Fantasy is rumors that Shirli is the reason behind the unusual stillness and silence of Gesthos. Now, you may need to find out how to wake her up before things get worse.
Recently, the announcement trailer for the new update did flash back to Shirli, setting things in motion for this new development. So now there is an important job to be done, and the newest simulacrum, Ji Yu, is here to help. You can add her to your roster along with her Flame/physical weapon, Freeflow, with today’s update.
Not only does the update push things forward in the story, there are a number of new challenges to take on. There's a new Frontier Clash season coming, a new Fog Reconstruction season, a new Void Abyss season, and a new Origin of War season. All of these will begin soon. The update also adds a new limited time raid instance, Element Alert. Plus, floor 59 of Bygone Phantasm Boundless Realm opens, along with level 11 of Sequential Phantasm Boundless Realm.
There are a number of fixes in the update, along with changes like a new level cap for equipment enhancement, which is now 65. new equipment augment parts, and a series of new events starting today.
