Tower of Fantasy has a brand new update, 3.1 Midsummer Merriment, and the debut on PlayStation consoles today.
The Midsummer Merriment update also comes alongside the first anniversary celebrations, with some new and some continuing. The first anniversary comes with a load of free gifts and rewards, including free draws and pulls, coins, gift boxes, and more. This includes 40 free draws on the newest simulacrum, Ming Jing's, weapon and Matrix.
Other anniversary gifts and events will continue into this month, with this update also bringing the main first anniversary event, Jade Pavilion Game Fest. There are six rewarding mini games to participate in, as well as a login campaign where you can accept some gifts just for blogging into the game.
The mini games you can take part in include Starchaser Championship, in which eight people compete to win a race by avoiding traps on each of the lanes, obstacles, and be the fastest to cross the finish line. Black Jade Warrior, which is a new instance in raids to take on, will be around through September 24th. Foreign Luminaries is another minigame You have a task to go find specific people and take photos with them. Bomber Arena is 4v4 competitive event where you have to throw lava bombs and explosive barrels to destroy the opposing side’s platform and send everyone to the ground to win.
Cloudpeak Manor arrives, along with the Overlooking Cloudpeak map and missions.You'll be able to explore this new map and complete daily missions to get Mission points for Rewards of your choice. There are additional challenge missions that you can complete to get a more rewards too.
Ming Jing is the newest simulacrum and his greatsword, Onyx Tortoise, is the first double residence weapon in the game. The swordt activates both physical and flame resistance and it can convert the main slot weapon damage to area damage.
Tower of Fantasy has also finally made it to PlayStation consoles, along with the update and MingJing. You can play on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. There's a launch celebration where you can get login campaign rewards and events that could give you up to 130 free pulls and a free pic SSR weapon box and a vehicle.
PlayStation even gets some exclusives, like the Calling Melody event. The four-player event mode Starts everyone at level 90 with the same base attributes and all your existing equipment on equipped. you'll have to rely on finding random event weapons to defeat all the enemies and complete the challenge.
