Tower of Fantasy 3.4, Butterfly in the Abyss, is coming on November 21st. Head further into Marshville, where the bitter winds blow, and even more dangers lurk. The update features new bosses, other challenges, and even more obstacles in the fight against the Darkness.

Marshville is the freezing location that the Darkness has transformed, and the new map on the way promises snow and wind are just the beginning of your challenges. Since Marshville didn’t freeze and change without a fight, part of the narrative this time will take you to witness remains of past efforts to defend against the Darkness. From this, there will be lessons to learn too.

Frost-Covered Marshville Part 2 is the new main story. Ji Yu will investigate circumstances behind the Hendeca County Calamity. By learning more, she will also work to stop Nin Yin, ons of the two new bosses in the update. Ji Yu’s work to investigate will take her into the secrets of the Forbidden County and her efforts to find clues to uncover the truth.

It won’t be easy, though. Nin Yin is one reason why. She was once the chief of the Alabaster Guards, but now she uses three different Darkness Crystamaxes to augment and add to her power. She is designed to be a difficult and unpredictable boss with all of her power, but there’s always a way. The second new boss, Merbelle, is like a dark mermaid. Half human, half fish, all Darkness entity. She is found deep in the cold lakes of Hendeca County.

The Field of Execution adds a new mode that emphasizes the importance of teamwork and patience. Work together to gather resources and reinforce Marshville against the incoming Darkness. Battle another boss, Xingtian, for rewards and continue on working against the threat.

Head to Tower of Fantasy for more. Butterfly in the Abyss is out on November 21st.
