Tower of Fantasy’s latest update, 4.4.5 brings a new simulacrum, Gray Fox, The Witch of Time, and her weapon, The Witch’s Key, new seasons, new bosses, a new limited time raid instance, additional gameplay features, and a series of events.
Gray Fox is the latest new simulacrum. She’s a support that can enhance your team’s survivability and, in particular, offer damage boosts to frost DPS weapons. Her kit is based around her frost/volt weapon, the Witch’s Key, and a core mechanism called Power Scale. This buff is stackable and consumable, and when she uses it she can enhance her weapon skills and unlock access to additional abilities. You can stack it up to 12 times. Using a normal attack will offer one stack, and using other abilities may offer up to a full 12.
When her skills consume the full stack, she also gets Witch of Time state, which not only boosts her attacks and abilities, she gains Power Scale stacks twice as fast.
As a support, she gets bonuses in team play to enemy damage taken and helpful party effects. Gray Fox can use her skills for effects that damage enemies and restore HP to nearby teammates, remove negative and control effects sometimes too. When she has access to her additional weapon skill, Subzero Beam, She can use that to freeze enemies, deal damage, heal nearby teammates and add a full 12 stacks of Power Scale.
In addition to Gray Fox, the update sets up new seasons for The Void Abyss, Frontier Clash, and Sequential Phantasm. A new permanent overworld gameplay feature, Phantom Thief Survival Guide, is now available, and there’s a new limited-time raid instance, Pitting Predators. For those who want some new challenges, there are new bosses too.
Various events, including Witch Party, which offers three minigames, have also arrived. There’s a whole lot more in the full patch notes, including event dates and premium offerings.
