Tower of Fantasy gets version 4.0, Gesthos Sector, today. The update adds new simulacrum Roslyn, A brand new zone, new quests, the continuation of the story, and much more.

The supercomputer at Hykros, Gesthos,  is at the heart of this update. The supercomputer was infected by a virus that threatened an Omnium crisis. In order to address the threat and try to stop it, you'll have to become an Authorizer, and upload your consciousness into the Gesthos Network World. This simulation takes the form of Aida before the Cataclysm. So you’ll get a special glimpse into the before and what that was like. The blend of technology here serves to show off the improvements and the advancements.

Aesperia, the first place you’ll go, is a modern, shiny, technologically advanced city. The design here leans into some of the Cyberpunk inspired touches we’ve seen from Tower of Fantasy before.  There are aircraft all over, holographic billboards on towering buildings, and gravity rail to travel around the city. There are new areas to explore and new terrain, blending technology and nature. In addition to new zones, there  new exploration tasks and puzzles to solve.

In Aesperia, you’ll meet Roslyn. Along with her flexible Frost/Volt weapon, Calm Waters, Rosalyn is a special officer of the Federation who is working to help others. Calm Waters takes the shape of an anchor, and Roslyn made it from the anchor of her grandfather’s ship. By adding her to your roster, you get a maneuverable mid-range attacker who is agile and uses combos to her advantage.

There are a number of events that arrive with the update, including some on PC and even some PlayStation exclusive events. There are Twitch Drops and opportunities to earn yourself 289 pulls and 1600 Dark Crystals. Console players can get full info on all things PlayStation, while PC players have their own events and promos to consider.
