Brace yourselves. The Warden and the Paunch DLC is heading to Total Warhammer II on May 21.
Two new Legendary Lords for the Greenskins and High Elves races are set to make their debut in this new DLC. Both of these lords will feature a campaign culminating in a showdown. On the Greenskin side, we have Warlord Grom, known more famously as Grom the Paunch.
Apparently, he’s the only Greenskin warlord to have ever successfully invaded the fabled isles of Ulthuan, home of the High Elves. Eltharion is known as the Prince of Yvresse, and is one of the most renowned High Elves in all Ulthuan having achieved what many of his kin consider impossible many times.
The press release also makes note of new units. Specifically, new hero units such as the Arch Mage and Giant River Troll Hag are outlined, in addition to ground troops such as magical Rogue Idols, the majestic Arcane Phoenix, and the deadly War Lions of Chrace.
Additionally, Prince Imrik of Caledor will be free to all Total Warhammer II players. Finally, a new update is part of this DLC, called the Old World update, and will feature quality of life improvements to the Greenskin faction including improvements to the WAAAGH! mechanic, chariot mounts and much more.
