Three new Total War strategy games are allegedly in development by Creative Assembly and one of those titles may allow players to experience massive battles in a galaxy far, far away.
According to a report by DualShockers, Total War: Star Wars is in the works at Creative Assembly. The publications credits a “reliable source” for the information, but offers no additional details at this time besides the existence of the project.
Fans have been asking Creative Assembly to take on Star Wars for some time now, but they’ve been equally vocal for the developer to follow up on the hugely successful Total Warhammer series of games with entries set in Games Workshop’s even more popular Warhammer 40K setting.
The studio’s latest title, Total War: Pharaoh, was a bust for the studio with disappointing sales and SEGA owned Creative Assembly has experienced a good deal of tumult as of late with the canceling of its shooter, Hyenas, and controversy surrounding the release of its Shadow of War DLC for Total War: Warhammer 3.
