Hack-and-slash multiplayer-compatible dungeon crawler Torchlight: Infinite, the mobile and PC successor to the Torchlight ARPG, has announced the date for its newest season as well as the preview date for all of its details.
Titled “Season of Arcana,” this new season will launch January 9th at 6:00 p.m. PST. In anticipation, there’ll be a live-streamed content overview on January 4th at 7:00 a.m. PST. We’re already promised a new Hero, which is standard for these seasons, as well as “ingenuitive new game mechanics,” with tarot cards “presenting a unique trial and tempting rewards.
The teaser for this news features, fittingly, an arcana theme, with some sort of mystical cards and an oracle of sorts.
The last season that went live in October, “The Frozen Canvas,” unlocked all Heroes for free except the newest one for the season and featured a sort of “build-your-own-dungeon” game mode that let players design layouts and spawn points.
Torchlight: Infinite went live on Windows, Android and iPhone back in 2022 and has seen quite a few similar updates since.
