This week, Black Desert Online is adding its 28th class, Dosa of Sangdo. Players have already been able to test out the brand new class on theBlack Desert Global Lab test server before his arrival tomorrow, in the July 3rd update.
This new warrior is a master of swords and the Do Arts, and he wields the Hwando Sword as his main weapon and the Gombangdae Pipe as his sub-weapon. The sword design is inspired by the Korean Joseon Admiral Yi-Sun-sin, and symbolizes yang energies. The Gombangdae pipe can summon Cloud soldiers. A new combat video and trailer showing off the new class shows just what summoning Cloud soldiers means.
Essentially, he's using yin and yang energies to combine cutting down enemies with sword strikes as well as summoning with the pipe. Learning and knowing when to use your combos are key. Tomorrow's update will raise the maximum character slot limit by three, and everyone will be getting one free Season Character ticket. You can use that ticket if you want to take full advantage of a number of progression bonuses to get everything started strongly.
The update will also open a new season of The Arena of Solare as part of the PvP rotation. The next War of the Roses season will begin on July 14th.
There's already an art event to welcome the new class, but there should be additional events rolling out as well. Tomorrow's maintenance is set to begin starting at 1:00 a.m. PDT and run for about 4 hours. During that time, the Black Desert official site will also be down for updates.
